NCLEES + Fall Conference 2012
Welcome to our section on NCLEES.
The paragraph below is intended to outline to our local membership what NCLEES is all about and the side bar to the right has been designed to be a resource and information centre for those guests from the US attending the NCLEES Conference which will take place in London 2012. We hope you enjoy the promotional video at the top of the page showing you some of the best that London has to offer.
What is NCLEES?
NCLEES is an organisation in the United States and stands for the National Conference of Law Enforcement Emerald Societies. It's aims are similar to that of the MPS Emerald Society. In 2007 the MPS Emerald Society secured membership of NCLEES as an 'international affiliate'. This was the first Emerald Society outside of continental North America to become a member, and we are proud of our partnership and affiliation.
The governing body of the NCLEES consists of a nine person Executive Board from across the country and a Board of Directors in which each member organization, has one representative. There are also standing committees including: By-Laws, Communications, Fund Raising, International Liaison, Legislative, Memorial March, Pipe Band, Scholarship.
NCLEES meet twice a year: May 14th - National Conference (during Police Memorial Week in Washington D.C.) and a Fall Business Meeting in a different host city each year.
If you are interested in going to any of the events below please email us. We don't organise group travel (because this works out more expensive) but will publish an itinerary on request where you can book your own travel arrangements.
